Just because you’re feeling tired it doesn’t mean there’s something wrong.
Just because you need more rest than usual doesn’t mean that something about your experience needs to be “fixed”.
Sometimes your body is just tired.
Sometimes your body just needs rest.
It doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you.
It just means that your body is telling you what you need.
It’s okay to just trust your body’s own built-in knowledge and intellect.
It’s okay to trust what your body is telling you you need right now.
It’s okay to trust your instincts.
It’s okay to trust that it won’t guide you astray.
After all, you’re a human being — not a machine.
You’re not going to have optimal energy all the time. That’s not a realistic expectation for any living being.
Where there is action, passiveness is needed.
Where there is fastness, slowness is needed.
Where there is wakefulness, sleep is needed.
You need both.
And there are seasons of life where you need more moments of passively just being, rather than actively being.
There’s nothing wrong with that.
It’s realistic.
It’s human.
